Madilyn Hoffman, a Senior from Southwest Christian School, will be presenting her paper "It's a Man's World: Reading Frankenstein as Feminist Text" at the 2017 Frankenstein Colloquium

Madilyn Hoffman is a senior at Southwest Christian School and has attended SCS since 1st grade. She is a National Honor Society member, a varsity soccer player, and works at The Reading Connection as an office assistant/tutor two times a week. Madilyn looks forward to attending The University of Tulsa in the fall of 2017 and plans on majoring in Global Studies. Her essay for this colloquium affirms the idea that Frankenstein is a feminist text, despite the absence of women in the novel as a whole. Madilyn would like to thank the SCS English Department for challenging her to become the writer she is today.

Madilyn will be presenting her paper "It's a Man's World..." during the 3rd Block in Session A, "Feminism in Frankenstein."  The session starts at 1:15pm and will take place in the Upper School Black Box Theatre on the 2nd floor of the Fine Arts Building.
