Emily Ma and Alexa May, students from The Hockaday School, will be showing their film “Frankenstein: The Story of Mary Shelley” at the 2017 Frankenstein Colloquium

Emily Ma and Alexa May, The Hockaday School
Emily Ma is a student filmmaker born in Hong Kong, but is a boarder at The Hockaday School. She is a student in the Hockaday Advanced Film Class and her favorite type of film is experimental. Additionally, she is on the Hockaday swim team and participates in the Dallas Film Society Roundtables. Her favorite part about filmmaking is, "creating a story and the ability to make it possible."

Alexa May is a student filmmaker residing in Dallas, TX and is a day student at The Hockaday School. She is in the Hockaday Advanced Film Class and her favorite type of film is indie. Throughout the year she participates in the Dallas Film Society Roundtables and the Dallas Film Society Film Summer Camp. She strives “to create films that make people feel their meaning in every single word.”

Emily Ma and Alexa May will be showing their film on two separate occasions, once during the 1st block at 9:10am and once during the 2nd block at 10:30am, during Session J. Both screenings will take place in the Integrated Media Lab on the 2nd floor next to the Library.
